Samsung SGH-I900 Omnia is one mobile phone that had create a lot of hype even before its release and from what’s seen in the preview, this phone stands true to the all the hype behind it. It’s a smart phone and probably is all set to contend for the crown of being the smartest of all the smart phones.

The 3.2’ inch WQVGA resolution touch screen dominates the phone, which is designed in an elegant and simple fashion. It is supported with some customized keys and an optical mouse for navigation. Again, Samsung takes away all applauses for the excellent finish. The covering and the styling of the exterior is sleek. At the obverse side is the camera. It is perhaps, the best of the cameras with a 5 mega pixel resolution, an auto focus, smile and face detection etc. The left side of the smart phone is home to the USB connector, power connector, LAN yard loop and headset. The right side is the dwelling place of the volume, camera and the menu keys. The micro SD slot is a bit irksome as it requires the battery cover to be undressed for accessing it, but omnia comes up with a sufficient internal memory of 8 GB or 16 GB and hence the former is less of a problem.

At 122g, Omnia is a light weighted windows mobile pocket PC. The Mobile Phone is user friendly, pleasantly designed and should be worth every shilling banked on.
