Samsung has released a higher version to the U800 cell phone called as ‘Lucido’ means sexy in the Italian language. With 11.8mm thickness, the ultra slim candybar phone comes with 2.2 inches AMOLED screen displays vivid pictures and bright images. Candybar phones are designed with clean lines, vibrant colours and distinctive contours. Compatibility to Quad Band GSM / Dual-Band 3G (HSPDA 7.2), Lucido features 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and with the face and smile detection technology and with Geo-tagging of photos. It also features long battery life.

Samsung Lucido has microSDHC slot that supports 8GB memory in addition to the 110MB onboard memory and also supports zippy downloads via 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and GPS with Google Maps. With a strong multimedia support, the sleek model has video recording feature with a QVGA resolution at 15fps and also possesses the feature of FM radio with RDS. With 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, it allows speedy online access and media streaming. It also features Bluetooth version 2.1 connectivity and USB 2.0
