The Nokia 1100 is the quintessential phone for users who are conservative and need such phones to serve that purpose. The unveiling of the Nokia 1100 phone was done in Russia under model 1000 series. But it didn’t really compare or fall into the cheap class category as did the 3300 series.

This Mobile Phone design is not normal and feels like it has been stylized to suit industrial looks. Plus point of this simpleton product is that you change front and rear panels with at least 6 other additional panels in different colors, this option being exploited by the masses to pep up the looks. The Nokia 1100 phone isn’t big in any sense (106x46x20mm).

The Nokia 1100 weighs only 86 grams and doesn’t feel balanced if held in the palms. It’s noticed that the phone weighs heavier near the upper display and feels really light at the lower end. The sides of the phone have so called “ribs” for user to have precision grip while on a call. The phone lacks water-proof or any anti-fall technology which means if it falls; the chances of it living through are remote. The Mobile Phone flash is reliable though not very bright and doesn’t stay on for longer periods until you hit the “c” button twice.

The Nokia 1100 display is graphical black and white and the graphical resolution is 96x65 pixels, but, in the more Asian markets, this phone has proved to be a huge success due to its elastic properties of survival. More than that often users have reported the phone surviving heavy falls and damages, since, it just needs the outer cover/panel to be replaced. Overall, the Nokia 1100 phone is easy to use, reliable, and user-friendly and a good introduction kit for starters and basic in all needs, recommended for older citizen’s use in most countries.
