The mobile is mainly targeted or rather oriented to the netizens. LG probably wants to catch hold of the net users on mobile. Again, its not the best phone for Internet browsing. As said earlier it’s a good attempt. Its sports a finger mouse. A 360 degree optical mouse is used or navigation. It may take time for one (those who were happy owners of mobile phones with the traditional keypad navigation) to get used to the mouse, but once this gets under your skin, it’s a delight to use. Make sure you handle it with ease or else you may just end up breaking the mouse. A dedicated Internet hotkey and a single band HSDPA are some interesting features that may entice enthusiasts.
The display is a 2.2 inch TFT LCD with a commendable contrast ratio of 2000:1. One of the good thins in the mobile is the camera. The camera is bound to cater applauses, for this 3-mega-pixel wonder has a 10X digital zoom and auto focus. LG KT520 is armed with all the modern features seen in the recent Mobile Phones. Blue tooth A2DP, web browsing, e-mail, instant messaging, music player, pre-installed games, voice command and so on. The built in media player is compatible with MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA music files. The camera is even capable of recording MP4 videos. Video calling is another good feature in this stylish phone. One of the letdowns is the mere 60 MB internal memory. With all the plethora of features available, at least a 256 MB memory seemed necessary. Nevertheless, a micro SD card slot fills in the need. The battery life is just average; it could have been better.
Now, all the above features mentioned may seem ridiculous if pricing is way too high. This is where; LG KT520 takes the prize away. It is available for a comparatively cheap price! Because of its pricing this Mobile Phone gets an edge over its counterparts in is segment. Quality finish, sleek, a couple of unique features, an excellent camera, a good music player, easy to use and above all cost-effective- LG KT520 should surely be among the top 5 mobile phones to buy this season (that fits in a low budget!).
