The Sony Ericsson's Cyber-Shot range of phones have been a massive hit. The Sony Ericsson K850i is also the first of the Cyber-Shots to support accelerated 3G (HSDPA), which enables you to access the web and download files at broadband speeds. Nice to see that feature available to Sony Ericsson users at last. The Nokia N73 we ended up getting one of the forthcoming variants first the Nokia N73 Music Edition. It is almost identical to the bog standard N73 but gains a few music related extras.
The Sony Ericsson K850i is clearly an evolution of past Cyber-shot phones, the front being dominated by the large 256,000-colour screen, now a bigger 2.2in, up from 2in on the K810i. The Nokia N73 Music Edition screen is capable of 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA) and can display up to 262,144 colours. The N73 Music Edition has a great viewing angle and is clearly visible in a variety of lighting conditions. The display is ideal for use as a viewfinder with the phone's camera and also stands out for Web browsing.
By comparing the Sony Ericsson K850i phone is a solid bar type design which measures 102mm x 48mm x 17mm. The N73 Music Edition is a candy bar mobile measuring 110 x 49 x 19 mm and weighing 16 grams. The N73 Music Edition Mobile Phone is the latest in the N70 series building upon a solid base of middle range function while adding small layers of either business smartphone like technology or multimedia capabilities.
